Meet the Chef

We would like to properly introduce and welcome our new head chef Johan Borgskog.

Johan has cooking in his blood since his whole family has and is working in the restaurant business.

And yes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, at the age of 13 he started his first apprentice, and later he and  his brothers started a bistro café in Helsingborg as soon as he left school. The bistro is still run by his brother and his wife.

Johan moved on, and made a stop in the kitchen at restaurant Ella on the quaint island of Hveen. More known for the famous distillery.

With a developed sense for South American cuisine Johan finally ended up in Gothenburg and threw himself into the newly opened Tacos & Tequila and later Supper and Mercado Mexico before finding his way to our kitchen. And we couldn’t be happier about that, as he has already put his mark on our latest menu.
